The 7th Member Representative Assembly of the Shandong Blood Transfusion Association was successfully held in Jinan.

On December 7, the 7th Member Representative Conference of the Shandong Blood Transfusion Association was held in Jinan, with over 230 member representatives from blood collection and supply institutions, medical institutions, umbilical cord blood banks, enterprises, news media, and other blood transfusion-related units participating in the meeting.

The conference conducted the election of the 7th Council and Supervisors.

The leaders of the Medical Administration and Medical Management Department of the Shandong Provincial Health Commission delivered speeches: The Shandong Blood Transfusion Association serves as a bridge and link between the party and government and the vast number of blood transfusion medical workers, and is an important social force in promoting the development of blood transfusion undertakings in our province. It is hoped that all representatives will grasp the new development stage, build a new development pattern, and continuously create a new situation for the high-quality development of blood transfusion undertakings in our province.

Gong Huaizheng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Shandong Blood Center, made a speech: We must adhere to the red line of blood safety, fully leverage the technical and resource advantages of the association, build an academic exchange platform, enhance the scientific research and academic level of blood collection and supply institutions across the province, strengthen the construction of a long-term mechanism for voluntary blood donation, actively organize various public welfare activities, and continuously enhance the brand of "Qilu Friendship" and "Hot Blood Shandong" for voluntary blood donation.

The conference also invited experts from the Anhui Blood Center and the Academy of Military Medical Sciences to give keynote speeches; it held the "Shining Red" Excellent Deeds Speech and Award Ceremony for Voluntary Blood Donors in Shandong Province.

Among them, the Mide 600 vehicle-mounted intelligent blood collection system made its debut.
