Maid Technology was invited to participate in the 2021 Academic Conference of the Medical Association's Laboratory Professional Committee in Jinan.

In order to promote the progress of laboratory medicine, keep abreast of new developments in laboratory medicine at home and abroad, and strengthen communication among laboratory personnel, the annual meeting of the Jinan Medical Association's Laboratory Medicine Committee for 2021 was successfully held on November 20, 2021, at the Blue Ocean Yuhua Hotel in Jinan. The meeting was hosted by the Jinan Medical Association's Laboratory Medicine Committee and organized by the Jinan Clinical Laboratory Quality Control Center and Jinan Central Hospital. Due to pandemic prevention and control requirements, the meeting was held in a hybrid format combining offline and online participation. Experts and representatives from various institutions, including Shandong Provincial Hospital and Jinan Central Hospital, attended the on-site meeting, while hundreds of others watched the live broadcast online.

The meeting was chaired by Professor Xiao Dongjie, the chairman of the Jinan Medical Laboratory Medicine Committee.

The meeting invited experts and scholars such as Professor Shen Yajuan from Shandong Provincial Hospital, Professor Pan Lin from Jinan Fourth People's Hospital, Professor Liu Hua, Professor Yang Weihua, Professor Zhou Shiqing, and Professor Zhao Hongyang from Jinan Central Hospital to give wonderful academic lectures on new developments in routine blood tests, key issues and policy requirements of COVID-19 nucleic acid testing, the joint maintenance of body immunity by stem cells and immune cells, clinical practice and quality control of fecal microbiota transplantation, the establishment and clinical application of standardized methodologies for fecal microbiota transplantation, expert consensus in China, and gut microbiota regulation and pediatric neurological diseases. Professor Ling Zhiqiang from the Zhejiang Provincial Tumor Research Institute gave an online lecture on the epigenetics of tumors. Vice President Wang Yunshan of Jinan Central Hospital and chairman of the Jinan Medical Laboratory Medicine Committee gave a lecture on new developments in microbiological culture omics.

As a co-organizer of this conference, Liu Peng, chairman and general manager of Maid (Shandong) Technology Co., Ltd., gave a special presentation on fecal microbiota transplantation instruments and software solutions.

The attending experts and scholars fully affirmed the fecal microbiota transplantation instruments and software brought by Maid Technology, and expressed high expectations for the improvement of fecal microbiota transplantation quality control levels, the improvement of the operating environment for medical personnel, and the promotion of fecal microbiota transplantation technology brought about by the application of instruments and software.

During the academic discussion session, the attending experts and scholars actively and enthusiastically discussed new developments, new technologies, and new methods in the field of international laboratory medicine.

Finally, Chairman Wang Yunshan gave a wonderful summary of the conference and proposed suggestions and hopes for the development of the laboratory discipline.
